The FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano – the Italian National Trust) envited Rico Lins to the project ” The Hand of the graphi designer”. 
  All particpants were asked to donete three sketches for a good cause: the preservation of the italian architectural heritage. This project follows the model used in “The hand of the architect” and “Designer of hand, ” great success in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

The sketches will be published in a catalogue edited by Moleskine and showcased at an exhibition at Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan in conjunction with the Milan Furniture Fair in May – April 11.

After the exhibition the original sketches will be sold at an auction by Sotheby’s in order to raise founds for the renovation of 3 important italian buildings.

Many important graphic designers joined the initiative:Bob Gill, Abbott Miller, Milton Glaser, Seymour Chwast, Paula Scher, Robert Massin, Carin Goldberg, Keith Godard, Fannette Mellier, Erik Spiekermann, Tomato, among others.
